Weird ED

Hey guys, I have been on TRT since July 10th. As a whole it has been pretty successful in helping my mood, brain fog etc etc. I did subQ for about 3 months but had a tough time building up the level of T that I wanted, and I was converting quite a bit to E2, which I found odd on subQ.

In November I switched to 120mg e7d subQ, ran that for a month and felt pretty good as a whole. Recently I switched to 60mg with 250IU HCG in the same syringe E3.5D. I believe this lowered my E2 a bit and now I am struggling with some ED issues. My last blood work showed a T of 833, and an E2(sensitive) of 15. Could this be the issue? My gyno has cleared up so I do believe that the lowered E2 is a positive thing overall, except for this ED issue. My E2 has been this low before and I havent had any issues? But for some reason now I do.... any thoughts?

Does the length of time at the lower E2 range make a dif? I think when I was on once a week, E2 would rise very sharply then fall slowly, then rise again. Right now I really don't have any fluctuations. Could this be the issue?

shooting once a week, more TCyp, and then changing to E3.5D, w/HcG, you've changed your dosing and protocol rather substantially in a way that you may need more time to adjust. your Sens E2 @ 15 is indeed low. I was at 19 on a similar protocol and am battling the ED and am trying to get E2 up by taking LESS Anastrozole.

Anyone else got any insight? Is E2 @ 15 low enough to cause these types of issues. Id imagine my E2 has been this low before but now that I have split my dose it really probably isnt getting any higher, I think 15 is about my peak.

I always freak out that I have permanent ED from TRT.

Also, this might be a dumb question. But what dif does 3-5 points in E2 really make. It doesnt seem like it could make a ton of difference, but does it?

You need to relax; I wouldn't be surprised that part of your "ED" issues are just coming from your infatuation of having ED.

As Vince noted, you have changed up your protocol significantly so you need to let it settle in and your body settle in and get BW to determine where you are at.

If you have 15 pg/ml sensitive E2 lab I'd say that's not that terribly low but we're all different. From my experience being between 25/35 pg/ml Sensitive is where most men find libido strong assuming all other things are okay.

ED and libido are complex and there are a ton of things that can effect it.

Stop worrying about it, let your new TRT protocol settle in and get BW to confirm you are at optimal levels. If you still have problems after that then it's time to look at other possible causes.

In TRT it's all about one small change at a time...

Same problem with TRT and a lower E-2 @13. I am off TRT now for six weeks for prostate reasons but I have had morning wood return with some erectile quality. I am not sure that I'll return to TRT at this point when my test come back negative.
I do miss the energy and focus but I can deal around that for a natural sex drive. Lot's of controversy around TRT and everyone is different as to how their body responds.
My T was at an all time high of 1100 with a free T of 19. No sex drive-no erectile quality.
Again not sure what I'll do but a long cooling period does not hurt if your T is not so low that it hurts.
Good luck and hope it goes well for you.

I wonder how many guys stress themselves over about whether they are getting sufficient morning wood, or, whether they are encountering some form of ED? I know I tend to think it about it a little too much and not just relax as I should, because in all honesty - I am doing OK. It has impacted my sleep - I wake up sometimes checking to see if I had some wood, because I have this idea if I don't have it every night then something is wrong. It's a kind of obsession that can become self-defeating.

I agree to some extent but I also think that you must pay attention to the before and after effects of TRT.
Also why you began the journey in the first place. In my case I had a total T of 500-550 but little free T at 6.9-7.0.
Low sex drive but some not none. Declining energy and losing focus. After TRT I had no sex drive at all but lots of energy and focus. Puzzling but true.
Hormonal balance is tricky when introducing exogenous hormones into the body. One step forward two steps back sometimes as the body may counter your moves.
We'll see how it goes.
