weak ejaculation... not much there

Hi guys new to the board. I started TRT 2 months ago and everything has been going great except for one thing. My libido is subpar and my ejaculate is so so weak and small. It never shoots out anymore and it is not very satisfying. I'm getting wayyyyyy more nocturnal erections now, sleeping great, huge huge energy and wake up with morning wood almost every day, but frankly my libido/orgasms/sensitivity/ejaculate volume were way better before I started TRT 2 months ago. It's really disheartening bc everything else is going so well. My sex drive and functioning were good before starting but my energy levels were terrible. It seems I have just now switched the problems by going on TRT. It's affecting me to the point where I want to stop. I'm 40. My bloowdowrk is scheduled for 4 weeks from now. My protocol is 60mg of test cyp e3.5days and 125iuHCG e3.5D.

Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions?

My libido is great but ejaculate sucks. Having low volume of semen is pretty common when you’re on TRT. There is not much you can do about that.

I experienced the same thing. I first tried Test Cypionate inj. for a year and libido did not improve and maybe went down slightly. AM wood was better than in a long time in my case also. So, I went off inj. TRT because I questioned its value in that regard and also began to notice testicular shrinkage. My libido rebounded well in about two months after discontinuing TRT. I then got on oral Clomid to boost T. After six months, T went up but not to the peaks of injectable Cypionate. Libido went down again, so dropped the Clomid. Libido went back up. In both cases however, morning wood went down. Libido up, wood down. A great unknown for me. I think @Cataceous had mentioned something about this in a couple of his posts so maybe he will chime in also. Now, I am trying compounded testosterone cream and HCG. Wood is good, libido is fair. However, I have also experimented with PT-141. It is a short term libido booster that is effective. Also, I have used it in conjunction with 10mg of Cialis. Now, if you want to have a libido and erections like a 16 year old, there you have it. Proceed with caution, use your own judgement and analysis.

Not sure what your overall T numbers were before starting treatment, but if you were having no problems with libido and erections, I would have looked elsewhere to address the fatigue problem. That being said, I didn't notice big improvements in libido until 4-6 months of being on TRT. I needed some tweaking on dosing which was worked out during that time frame (I was 48 at the time). Just trying to say that some of the benefits from TRT take longer than two months.

Interesting stuff. Outside of the first TRT week, I haven't felt like I was fiending for sex at all. That first week was pretty whacky I went 6X in one day the first week. I can wake up with the morning wood and go with it, but pre-TRT I could have sex or jerk off 2-3X per day no problem... and if I didn't orgasm for a few days, the load was really big and powerful. Now... not so much. I forgot to say above that I called my urologist who is NOT treating me for TRT but told him my issues and he prescribed 2.5mg of Cialis daily, so I have that now. 5mg pills I break in half.

Is PT-141 FDA approved yet? My compounding pharmacy has it in a pill with cialis. Excuse my ignorance but is the over the counter/research chem/ prescription? How have you taken it?

Thanks for the comment. I had 2 total test testoterone tests done pre TRT. One was 330 and the other was 230ng/dl. I had free T check once with these tests. It was 70pg/ml. I wasn't really sure whether how I was living was normal. I rarely had morning wood and usually it was half mast. I never had random boners... but I could have sex multiple times per day with really good erections. I just didn't know if how I was feeling was optimal. I'd imagine plenty of guys who have low T can function very well sexually. From what I've have seen and what I have experienced in the past with steroid use, the androgen component (from a sheer numbers perspective) of sexual function seems to be overrated.

Even years ago when I was coming off of 400mg weekly of Deca I had a bloodtest done and my total test was 130ng/dl. I still fucked my girlfriend 7X in one day no problem. I was 30, not 40 but sexual functioning seems to be quite complicated.

You will get nothing effective taking PT-141 orally. It must be injected. It's used off-label for men, for which it is effective in stimulating libido, from my personal experience. It is FDA approved for women now however:

Thanks for the information. My wife is 8 months pregnant. It could very well be nature's way of trying to prevent me from straying. I have thought of this.

First few months youre in flux. If youre only taking Test, your balls shut down, so expect things to change. HCG made my loads and intensity much better. It takes time.

Weak ejaculate was one of the first things I noticed when I got on trt 6 years ago. Everything else became better except for that. I’m not sure how to fix it to be honest. It’s kind of weird too because most of your ejaculate comes from your prostate I believe....it doesn’t make much sense.

Yes HCG will help and also FSH. The only way you know if you're fertile is by getting tested. Since I started trt, my semen load has dropped dramatically.

I am doing 3 times fsh and 500 eod testicles seems normal (maybe a bit bigger even) and volume seems fine l, didn’t test yet though.
