Water Retention Caused by Testosterone May Have Nothing to Do with Estradiol

I no longer take eplerenone. For some strange reason, my bloating decreased dramatically when I started taking Metformin 500 mg twice per day.

My reduced bloat may be due to these benefits found with the use of Metformin:

Metformin may work by changing gut bacteria makeup
Anti-Inflammatory Effects of Metformin Irrespective of Diabetes Status

I still take losartan once daily for blood pressure.
I also take metformin. 1000mg XR morning and night. I actually started this protocol to see if it would help with water retention. It actually did work for a while. But, that could also be because it gave me severe diarrhea. After my gut became accustomed to the drug, I noticed decrease effects from it. I still take it every day. Do you still use metformin? I'm wondering if switching to the short acting form instead of the extended release would provide more benefit... what are your thoughts?
