Yes, I would get a therapeutic phlebotomy at a hematocrit of 54. I was trying to clarify that men with high blood pressure may be at higher risk than those with normal BP.To clarify, 54 is your cutoff for rapid resolution through phlebotomy, not what you’re ok living with with good BP?
