About a year ago my wife and I started bringing in a third female into our world sexually. It has been a lot of fun.
My wife and our third are much younger than me…I’m in my 50’s…and normally it’s not a problem. Over a weekend of fun, I can normally get off 3-5 times.
But sometimes we will have “marathon“ sex and I struggle staying hard after a couple of hours.

I’m in good shape. Workout, don’t smoke, drink, eat pretty good, don’t drink coffee or sodas, etc.

I do take daily Cialis (5mg) and have tried viagra with little response as far as staying hard any longer then without it.

So…I have been thinking about trying TriMix. Just seeking some input on this.

I have read PT-141 might be a good thing to try as well.

Well...I can tell you that my wife and I tried PT-141 on Sat. It was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience.

We took the recommended starting dose.

3 hours later I violently threw up. An hour later she threw up. Two hours later we both got sick again. And then another 2 hours sick once again, plus pounding headaches for both of us.

This continued for 12+ hours.

And....I pretty much had a hard on the whole time...cool, but felt so crappy I was not interested in sex.
She said her clit was throbbing as well but same thing...so sick sex was not going to happen.

So...yeah....not a fun experience. Doubt I will give it another try.

Forget about the recommended dose.. You have to take tiny dosage and you will be fine... What you got might've been way overdosed in the first place

PT-141 is too unpredictable for me. I never know when it will kick in, and then I get boners through the night that keep waking me up. Trimix's action is very precise, once you dial in your dosage.

Or is it possible that someone can become more sensitive to trimix. I've read where guys have needed more over time but has anyone heard of the opposite occurring?

Why don't you reduce the dose. What's happening to you in the here and now is all that really matters.

How long have you used PT-141? What dosage and how often? Does it work long term? Do you regain normal sexual function after stopping PT-141?

I actually found out about PT - 141 because I purchased Melanotan 2 so I could catch a good tan. The first time I took it, I started getting unbelievable boners non-stop. I started reading up on it and found out that erections are a major side effect of it, along with headaches, uncontrollable yawning and stretching. I got all of them, and an incredible "tan". But the side effect of "constantly stretching" and yawning were almost unbearable. I then came across PT-141 which is nearly identical, minus the "tan", and decided to try it. I find it works FANTASTIC for erections, though takes slightly longer to kick in, but I don't get as extreme side effects, the yawning & stretching. I know that sounds like weird side effects but if you take a higher dose, you'll quickly find out what I'm describing. Anyway, it comes in a freeze dried powder in a small vial. You can mix either 1 CC or 2 CC's of bacteriostatic water into the vial. NEVER allow it to quickly shoot in, directly on the white, freeze dried powder. Make sure you are holding the plunger on your syringe loaded with 1 or 2 CC's of bacteriostatic water. Then put the needle in pointed towards the side of the inside vial and SLOWLY allow the suction to pull the water in down the side of the vial. Once it's empty, DO NOT shake, or turn over the vial. Simply rotate the vial in a small circle and the solution will quickly mix. These peptides are fragile and can be destroyed or become less potent if you don't mix them properly. Anyway, after it's mixed, depending upon whether you used 1 CC or 2 CC's of water, I would start out with 2.5 IU's for 1 CC of water or 5 IU's for 2 CC's of water. Inject it sub Q 2 inches from your belly button about 60 - 90 minutes prior to sexual activity. It works for so long that you can inject 4 - 6 hours prior and it will still work for another 30+ hours. I normally do double those doses, or 5 IU's for 1 CC or 10 IU's for 2 CC's, but I would recommend starting off lower and working your way up based on how it affects you. Everyone is different. My wife & GF can't believe the results. Take that with Cialis and I have "skin stretched" rock hard boners non fukin stop. I climax and within 5 minutes, I'm rock hard again. It's crazy. The morning wood the following morning is INSANE. I also find the it has a "stimulant" effect on me whereby I find it difficult to get quality sleep when I take it. After a marathon session, we fall asleep and I find myself constantly moving, rolling over, and getting hard ons all night long. I'm not sure if most guys have similar results, but for me anyway, this shit works no matter what. Crashed Estrogen and completely unable to get hard, even with 20 MG's of Cialis. Take PT 141 and I'm getting boners all night long. Shits crazy.

Standard doses of PT-141 are absurdly large, biologically speaking. They often don't work and/or cause all kinds of problems. I tested distributed micro-doses as an alternative and had a completely different and improved experience.

A different dosing strategy with bremelanotide (PT-141) yields dramatically better results

TL;DR: It may be possible to improve results with bremelanotide by taking multiple daily micro-doses. Like many, I have experimented with bremelanotide at the recommended doses, which range from a few hundred micrograms up to a couple milligrams in one subcutaneous injection. And also like...

I am not sure from the posts, but I hope you folks recognize that Bremelanotide or PT 141 is the same compound in Vyleesi. From Science Direct: "High rates (up to 40%) of trial participants reported nausea; interestingly, only 8.1% of study participants chose to discontinue use because of nausea.46 This is an important caution against making assumptions about what ratio of risk-benefit patients with sexual problems will find favorable based on grouped biostatistics, and reinforces the need for individualized and informed choice." Bremelanotide - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics. The recommended dose may well have something to do with the nausea, but they don't seem to have any research to show at what dosing the nausea will be an issue, so it may be some folks are more susceptible to the nausea than others or it could be dose related. it could also be in men, the "aphrodisiac" stimulation occurs because it does yield good erection spontaneously. Or it could be the increases in dopamine cause the increased desire. And that to me makes sense. So, the idea, that this compound is experimental isn't true, and the makers of Vyleesi would have had to submit to the FDA typically two significant clinical studies showing efficacy, and looking at side effects. I didn't find those studies, but I don't have access to better online medical data. Those studies would also outline the adverse events seen across what should be a significant number of patients.According to Science direct, the benefits however were seen for the higher doses, but remember, this data was from studies in PRE MENOPAUSAL WOMEN. NO MEN.

I have been following the comments on this post, but wanted to reach out to you regarding the possibility of another podcast with Dr Rubin? She has an added a new partner, and a new nurse practitioner and some office staff, and they are moving to a new facility in January. Maybe, after they get settled into the new office, she might finally have a little (relative term for sure) time for another podcast? It would be an opportunity to get her opinion on medications, and for instance PT 141, and others, updates on what is new, as well as currently available treatments.
