Twenty One Months of Daily Injections - Lab Update

My blood work was moved up by a number of months as there were multiple, non-androgen tests I needed to conduct.

My protocol for the past twenty one months has consisted of 16mg of testosterone enanthate every morning, HCG, 250 twice weekly, and five milligrams of Cialis every evening. I do supplement, CoQ10, Vitamins B12, D, and C, and NAC, but discontinued citrulline and arginine at the first of the year.

Total Testosterone, 1011 ng/dl (348-1197)

Free Testosterone, 19.2 pg/ml (7.2-24.0)

Estradiol, Sensitive, 31.7 pg/ml (8.0-35.0)

SHBG, 22.1, nmol/l (19.3-76.4)

Hematocrit, 43.7 % (37.5-51.0)

Hemoglobin, 15.0, g/dl (12.6-17.7)

Mood, energy, concentration, libido, erectile function are excellent. In my case, daily injections have done exactly what I hoped they'd do: maintain steady-state levels and keep estradiol in check, it had risen to 55 on a twice weekly protocol, without turning to an AI. For me, it's worth the few minutes every morning it takes to inject.

Thanks for the update, CW!

Six weeks and counting for me on daily injections. Feeling really good. I'm going to run labs at some point in the next couple weeks.

CW, thanks for the update, because of you I'm also injecting daily now. I think you have a great protocol. I'm sure happy you're a member of Excelmale.
Any reason why you, discontinued citrulline and arginine at the first of the year.

Do you think it's the Enanthate has allowed your smaller daily dose as opposed to Cyp where I'm using twice that @ 28mg day? I know I've talked to you about the ester before, still thinking about it for my next consult w Dr Saya or perhaps asking about a Cyp/E blend.

In regard to the arginine and citrulline, I have colitis, well controlled, but had a flare after a lot of travel during the Christmas season. I eliminated every non-essential, oral medication/supplement until things settled down. Once my colon was stable, I realized my erectile function was unchanged w/out either supplement - it was excellent. I decided to see how things would play out, and, so far, so good.

My doctor told me she's never prescribed cypionate, having practiced in Canada and Ireland. She's had patients who have tried propionate, but none who've stayed with it. She believes a theoretical case can be made for enanthate over cypionate, in regard to daily injections, but isn't aware of anyone who has clinical experience actually standing one against the other.

As far as half lives cyp/enanthate should be interchangeable as far as dosage we know 100 mg cyp=70 mg test/100 mg enanthate=72 mg test/100 mg prop=83 mg test/100 mg suspension=100 mg test, if I were you I would get my hands on some suspension and give lower dose daily injections a go what do you have to loose if only 6 weeks of your time.

Thank you, Dr. Saya. I should let you know I have shared many of your posts with my doctor here in Toronto. She said she agrees with you over 90% of the time - only her own father, a gastroenterologist, gets a higher approval/agreement rating and she said that's because he's her dad!

Ever so slowly, good doctors are making a difference in this field and in the lives of their patients.

Thank you.

Well then, she agrees with me more than my wife (a nurse practitioner)...but that's another topic haha! You're fortunate to have such a good doc and she's fortunate to have such an enlightened patient.
