TRT with cycles in between for 7 years and lost libido suddenly along with hair loss that was never present before even on cycles.

So I have lost my libido, can still get erections but not whenever I want since I literally have 0 desire and never in the mood. Usually takes a lot of stimulation.

My SHBG is low, but it’s been low before and had good libido. My SHBG doesn’t seem to want to climb like it used to. Did some bloodwork to investigate

My reverse T3 has been floating around 26 on 2 separate bloodwork panels and my free T3 os around 3.3. Free T4 is in normal ranges as well and my TSH is between 2.5 - 3.

Is this reverse T3 and issue? I’m either planning on fixing this with a doc using T3, or coming off TRT entirely and letting my SHBG, adrenals, HPTA, and hormonal to just reach homeostasis and let libido come back on its own.

Thoughts?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
