Traveling Internationally with TRT

Hi all,

I am traveling to South Africa for business in ten days, and I will be there for a month. After that, I will be in another US state that's different from my home state. The trip is already going to mess up my protocol, as I will need to drop the 3,000iu weekly HCG I currently take for fertility on top of my regular TRT dose.

My question is about getting into South Africa with Testosterone. Has anyone done this? I understand it's a very hard place to procure testosterone and I worry that there will be issues at customs with either my vials or syringes. I will be keeping the testosterone (10ml vial) in its original box with the prescription label on it, which has my name. However, since I'm running low in that vial and would otherwise need a refill during the time I'll be in South Africa (I can't refill early), I will also be bringing two extra small 200mg vials, which I never ended up using, that have older prescription dates.

Does anyone see any issue with this or have any advice for me as to how I can guarantee I can get my TRT in the country? The last thing I want is to be stuck for 5 weeks without any test, because my LH and FSH are at 0 and that would be brutal.

Thank you.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
