Tirzepatide: additives, alternative sources, and how to deal with the ban?

I just found out about the whole ban on compounded tirzepatide (I been living under a rock apparently).

My provider presents these options to me now:
  • Empower Pharmacy (Tirzepatide/Niacinamide)
  • Strive (Tirzepatide/Glycine/B12)
  • Southend Pharmacy (Tirzepatide/B6)
  • Red Rock (Tirzepatide/Glycine)
I have been spending an average of $150/month on my dosage (3.5 mL/weekly) of regular compounded tirzepatide, but now I see all those options, and I don't know which one to select and how that would affect my protocol.

Any advice on what the differences are between those two options?

Also, has anyone here ever obtained tirzepatide from research companies? If this ban goes into full effect long term, I am strongly considering that.

I hear people are stockpiling tirzepatide, is that a good idea? I am getting nervous with this ban and I am wondering if I should look into that.

Any feedback and advice is more than welcome. Thank you!

The niacinamide version from Empower gave me wild flushing when I first tried it – not dangerous but definitely annoying mid-workout. Personally, I’d lean toward glycine/B12 if those were my choices; glycine’s got some decent research for sleep and recovery, which pairs well with the appetite suppression.

Stockpiling feels risky unless you’ve got solid storage and a clear timeline. I rotated through a few peptides before landing on reta, and even then, potency degradation was a real concern after a few months. If you’re considering alternative routes, just know the quality variance is *massive* – some batches hit like a freight train, others feel like saline. Wouldn’t go that route unless you’re cool playing chemist and accepting the gamble.

Side note: The ban chaos is exactly why I switched to something with less red tape. Less headache, similar results.
