Timing of First Blood Work?

Been on TRT for past 6 weeks & ready to do blood work. I'm doing Test Cyp Sub-Q E3.5D. Monday pm & Friday a.m. (Plus HCG same time)

I thought I read that one should test at the trough which would be Fri. a.m. before my shot. But seems then I'll never know what the "peak" level is & the levels leading down to the trough.

If I tested closer to the midway point between shots, wouldn't that give more indication of the "average" t levels? For example, say TT was 700 halfway between shots, would one assume that the peak could be 750'ish & trough would be 650'ish?

Stick with Friday before your shot. The peak is less important that the trough level. With injections every 3.5 days, you should not have a big difference between peak and trough anyway unless you have low SHBG.

Speaking of every 3.5 days, you should really be injecting Monday AM and Thursday PM. Or Monday PM and Thursday AM.

I think whether Mon morning or evening is personal preference. As long as its always 3.5 days between shots, not sure it matters. Since I opt to inject Monday p.m. then it would be Friday a.m., right?

Ex.
Monday pm shot...
Tues pm= Day 1
Wed pm = Day 2
Thurs pm = Day 3
Friday am= 1/2 day
3.5 days

Friday am shot...
Sat am= Day 1
Sun am= Day 2
Mon am= Day 3
Mon pm= 1/2 day
3.5 days

You are not counting Monday night to Tuesday AM as a half day as you should. Monday PM and Thursday AM make the 3.5 days. Pick any two days you want, of course.
