Blood work timing question

I am curious as to how quickly an new injection would show up on blood work? I've always read to get blood drawn right before the next injection. For reference I follow a 2x/week protocol (every 3.5 days). From everything I've read, it seems, blood levels peak 48 - 72 hrs after injection which puts it very close to the next injection? It seems like the trough might actually be at some point AFTER an injection, meaning before that injection starts to show up on blood work?
Making this assumption is one of the reasons (along with convenience) that I take my HCG at the same time as my T Cyp injection.... Thinking it will fill that trough before the T shot "kicks in"?
I would be interested in other people's thoughts on this?

Thanks CW! I do understand the trough is what we are looking for but I am just speculating that the trough MIGHT be at some point after an injection ....as the last inject is still bottoming out but before the new injection would register on blood work?

Yes, test as close as is practical to your next injection. If injecting every 3.5 days, aim to have blood drawn just prior to your morning shot (even if it means a slight delay in administering that particular dose because you are at the lab).
