Tight or knotted muscles from TRT?

I have been suffering from tight and/or knotted muscles in my pelvic region for about a year now. Lately I have noticed that the muscles seem to be at their worst the day after a test injection. Has anyone else experienced this?

Some background: I am 82 yo and have been on TRT for over 10 years. TRT was originally prescribed for osteoporosis after Fosamax and Prolia failed to help. The TRT worked and my bone density is now normal.

I used fairly high doses. I aimed for a peak about 1100 (more than my doctor wanted). I was happy with the results -- better muscle size and strength and less fat.

The tight or knotted muscles in my pelvic/hip/butt region affect mostly walking. I find it increasingly uncomfortable to walk more than a few hundred yards. Sometimes it hurts just walking across a room. This has ended hikes and similar activities. I do a lot of biking, thousands of miles/year and have no discomfort while biking. I also lift weights with no discomfort.

I have seen 5 doctors and been through 2 physical therapy courses. Strong prescription anti-inflammatory medicines help, but are not a cure. Physical therapy stretching also helps, but the relief is temporary.

I have searched the internet to find out if TRT can cause my muscle problems, but I could find nothing to support that idea. I have tried lowering my TRT dose found no improvement. Has anyone using TRT had a similar problem?
