Will higher testosterone repair torn muscles quicker?

Hello. I'm currently on a total of 135mg per week split into 3 days. I have a hypothetical question about repairing torn muscles. I have a grade 1-2 calf strain and am wondering if my test was higher it would be repaired faster? Thank you in advance!

Your dose is high enough. No need to go higher for muscle repair.

OK. I'm actually prescribed 200mg per week but I don't want to go that high so I can limit my sides. Basically if I go a little higher it won't do much because my dose is already high enough for muscle repair?

Yeah that's what I think. Upping your dose, won't improve your muscle repair.

Chances are on your current protocol 135 mg T/week split (M/W/F) that you are hitting a healthy TT/FT level let alone may very well be hitting a high TT/FT level depending on where your SHBG sits.

If such is the case then driving your dose from 135 mg/week---> a whopping 200 mg/week is going to make a SHIT LICK of a difference when it comes to repairing a torn muscle.

Diet/rest/recovery is what is in order!

I had a torn calf when doing Muay Thai kickboxing. 6 weeks off with light leg exercises so the muscles heals correctly then went back to Muay Thai. For two weeks my Achilles hurt so much I could hardly walk after class the they came good. You don’t want to be thinking adding more testosterone will help.
Only a moron will use more.
Recovery recommended is 6 weeks and you need all of that if not longer.

Depending on the tear, supraphysiological testosterone will actually increase risk of tear and possibly slow down certain tissue repair. I know this to be true on various tendons.
