testosterone super high on 200mg

lift-to-failure

So I just recently jumped on TRT since my levels were 269 ng/dl and i was using prescription TRT until i found a good underground lab and it was way cheaper so i switched. I figured i would get my bloodwork done and see what my test levels were at and they came back as 260.0nmol/l which is 7498ng/dL. I was really surprising since its only 200mg. All my other blood work looks great other then the high test. Why would it be so high on 200mg? like if i wanted to do real TRT how much would i need to drop it by? Was just thinking to come off for maybe 3 weeks to reset everything then start from scratch. My e2 is high but i have no e2 symptoms but im trying to lose a little bit of fat so would high e2 jeopardize that? also i got bloodwork done right BEFORE my next injection so in a trough then i injected after the blood work was done when i got home. Also i did lift hard 2 hours before my blood test if that matters at all. Thanks for all the help i appreciate it.

Opinions vary, but mine is that "real" TRT excludes going much over 100 mg of testosterone cypionate per week. That's because this is beyond the physiological production range. Your 200 mg is double this, and at 20 mg of testosterone per day that's giving you about triple what a healthy young guy should be producing naturally. Even so, your lab result seems excessive for a trough, even accounting for elevated SHBG, which drives up total testosterone, but not free testosterone. I suspect an error, which could be in the dosing, in the stated concentration of the product, or in the blood testing lab. You can retest to see if you get similar results.

SHBG is 16nmol/L. The bottle is 250/ml and I take 0.4 twice a week so 0.8 total a week so it has to be lab error or overdosed. Also it's test E if that makes any difference. Thanks for the response I appreciate it

Lab error!

No way you would be hitting a peak let alone trough T level 7000+ ng even if your UGL was overdosed.

Most men on TTh are injecting 100-200 mg T/week whether once weekly or split into more frequent injections as in twice-weekly (every 3.5 days), M/W/F, EOD or daily.

The majority of men can easily hit a healthy let alone high trough FT injecting 100-150 mg T/week especially when split into more frequent injections.

Some men can hit stellat levels injecting <100 mg T/week.

Those run of the mill 200 mg T/week protocols pushed by all those dime a dozen T mills, so called gurus polluting the net or blast n cruizzzers stinkin up all those so called HRT/men' s health forums is OVERKILL!

Yes there are some outliers who may need the higher-end dose 200 mg T/week but it is FAR from COMMON as in RARE!

Unfortunately too many are brainwashed by that more T is better mentality BULLS**T!

Was the blood test an at home, finger prick test? I've read they can be very off with results if that's what was used.
