Hello everyone,

I'm new to Testosterone Replacement Therapy, Let me give you a little background. I'm primary hypogonadism currently on 200mg of Testosterone Cypionate every 10 days. With HCG 500ui Monday Wednesday and Friday. My question is if I injected my testosterone on Sunday May the 22nd, does that mean my next shot will be on Tuesday Many the 31st making it 10 days including the Sunday. Or will it be 10 days after my first shot making it Wednesday June 1st. Thanks for your help in advance and sorry for this question just want to make sure I'm injecting on the right date.

Welcome to our community.

I assume you are trying to be fertile to get your wife pregnant since you are injecting 500 IU of HCG three times per week.

Since you are already injecting three times per week, why not simplify your protocol and get more steady blood concentrations of testosterone by splitting the equivalent of 140 mg per week ( or 200 mg every 10 days) into three and combining it with your HCG ( so three combo injections of 45 mg T plus 500 IU HCG) like I do it here:

By the way, that T and HCG dose will probably get your total T over 1000 ng/dl. Closely watch your hematocrit !

Thank you for your quick response. The reason I am taking HCG is to continue to father children in the future and not run into any issues regarding low sperm count. My doc will order new labs in a month or two. Should I ask him to lower my HCG to smaller doses or should I wait for the labs to see my levels. Also would it be better to ask my doc to put me on weekly shots instead of every 10 days. Going back to every 10 days does the day of the injection count or will it be 10 days after my injection. By the way great website very informative and a great community.
 
The idea of one shot every 10 days is at least 20 years out of date. Cutting edge TRT doctors have their guys injecting at least every 3.5 days. (Monday morning, Thursday evening as an example) Nobody is going to feel good on a one shot every 10 days protocol.

Your best bet is to follow Nelson's advice and inject both HCG and T 3 times per week on the same day.
 
Thanks for the advice to both of you I will give that a try and check back with my Doctor on the results and how I feel.

Are you saying that 140mg a week(even every 3.5 days) with 1000IU per week hcg would result in over 1000 levels of total testosterone?

Or that a single injection of 200mg at ONCE will result in blood levels over 1000. That I understand, but you really think that 140mg a week split into 2 will result in over 1000 along with 1000IU of hcg?

That is not at all uncommon. When I was injecting 60mg every 3.5 days my total testosterone rated at 1017. That was prior to HCG being added to my protocol (which, in my case, did not impact testosterone levels).
 
I had no idea. I know steroid users use 4-6 times the dose per week to estimate blood levels, but I think that's for once a week injections, and measured at trough.

Since there really isn't a trough for every 3.5 days, I didn't know if it applied or not.

I know you guys posted your blood levels, and it was probably measured at trough, but since you didn't say, was it? I don't know how much, if any difference there is in testing 1 day after injecting, or testing at trough on a every 3.5 day protocol.

If the 4-6 times holds, that's 560-840 ng/dl expected blood levels. I am on this protocol, so I have no idea what to expect when I do get labs done!

Based on information posted on several other posts, I was under the impression there IS a trough injecting E3.5D. From my understanding, the trough would be the morning of the next AM injection (before the injection). I would suppose you would want to have your blood drawn as close to the next injection time as possible. For example, I'm on a Tuesday(8 PM) - Friday(8 AM) split. I intentionally split it this way when I first started my E3.5D protocol 7 weeks ago because I knew my next set of labs was going to be taken at 9AM on Friday, June 17th.

With that said, I would have my blood drawn at 9AM, then head home to take my normal Friday(AM) injections. I'm really interested to see where my levels will be on this E3.5D protocol.
