How long to wait till switching to every 3.5 days?

One week 3 of TRT 100mg test/1500IU HCG weekly. Take the shots Sunday night and feel great Monday-Wednesday, then start feeling sluggish and tired starting Thursday and gets worse until Sunday when I start over again.

Should I give it more time before asking my doc if I can switch to every 3.5 days or go ahead and ask?

If you had labs done recently that would help out a lot, but without knowing where this protocol puts your TT and E2, it would be a safe bet to start at the end of the week before you would otherwise give yourself the weekly injection. Going from weekly to twice weekly injections will increase your TT on the same dosage.

It would be a mistake to make any change in your protocol prior to the four to six week mark. Serum levels haven't undergone a sufficient number of half-life's for you to know anything with certainty yet. Any lab drawn at this point would be of marginal value for the same reason. You may well do better on a protocol calling for more frequent injections, but give it more time. To win at this game, and there's every reason to think you will win, take th long view.

You inject on Sunday night, what day do you do labs. Most men labs are on injection day before they inject.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
