Just be careful if you have sex with a woman after application. Masculinization of female partners has been reported due to transfer of gel on them.

Thanks, my dr put me on testim. Have been using it for about ten days and so far so good. Feel great actually. It stinks though. I've been putting it on in the morning after I shower. I can't really smell anything myself but no lie the women at work are throwing themselves on me. It's very weird. I've been thinking about either putting it on at night ( although I don't want to sleep in it either, it's kinda sticky and I sleep with someone) or putting it on my thighs instead of the shoulders like the directions say. Or stop using it.

I told Dr Saya I would not considered using gels, it had to be injecting or nothing. I'm afraid of transferring the testosterone.

So I've been using Testim now for 2 weeks.

So far so good. Energy has improved and definitely have a great feeling of well being. I expected it to be more aggressive but its actually more a feeling of calm confidence and clarity and focus which feels absolutely great. This in itself has been such a welcome feeling and has made the battle to get here well fought.

There have been a few side effects?? Not sure if you could call them side effects but...I've been having some muscle pain. I do workout about 5 days a week and have been hitting it pretty hard. I have been experiencing pretty intense DOMS and cramping.

There have been some effects on sexual function both good and bad. Its only two weeks in so I'm hoping the bad effects will diminish. At this point I could go hours which sounds great but is a little too over the top. I'm hoping that settles down.

Ive learned some tricks on how to apply the gel that makes it a lot less noticeably stinky and more manageable.

So, I think its going well. I am surprised at how quickly I started improvements. Thanks Nelson and everyone else for your insights. I'm sure I will have more questions.

On Transdermals it takes about 2 weeks for serum levels to stabilize so you're just about there.

In many men when Testosterone serum levels reach a nice healthy level the body needs to adjust so there may be some side till the body adjusts...think of it as one step back and two forward.

Give it time and have some patience as while it is a great drug it takes time for things to really change...and they will

And a lot of us, with great anticipation, initiate therapy with a transdermal and feel...nothing. Blood levels barely moved (if they moved at all). When they - the gels - work, they work quite well. When they don't, well, it's on to injections. I gave it a good-faith, multi-month trial, and am glad to be using injections.

Its best to apply in morning after you shower when pores are open.
