Little background to start...
Started TRT about 6 months ago due to low T at 234. At the same time, E2 was 60. Began on 200mg Test Cyp and 1mg Arimidex, both 1x/week. At 2 month blood checks, T kept decreasing from 692 to the latest 467. E2 also dropped to 33. Come to find out I have low SHBG at 15 so I switched to 100mg 2x/wk and .5mg Arimidex 2x/wk. Latest blood draw was 2 days post injection and total T was 1267 but E2 increased to 44.
Now fast forward...
Had appt with Dr Calkins of Defy Medical and new protocol is Test 50mg+500iu HCG+ .125mg Arimidex MWF.
My question is - at less than .50mg a week of Arimidex with E2 already elevated, how will my E2 improve?

More frequent injections + lower dosage should help reduce estradiol. Will 0.125mg 3x a week be enough? Only bloodwork will tell you that. But there is a good chance given you are injecting a smaller dosage more frequently

Adding in the HCG is what has me wondering. Also adding in 25mg DHEA daily, which also aromatizes. Hopefully it will all work out. Just worried about elevated E2 levels. I felt like hell at 60. Thanks for your reply!

If it gets too elevated you can adjust your protocol with your Doctor. Migh take a while to get dialed in but you are in good hands
