Hello,
I have a question, about some strange symptoms I'm having. My first blood test was 308ng/dl, so I'm getting another one done tomorrow.
The symptoms I have are my fingers twitch when I wake up and my eyes are closed, I have weird tingling in my calf and my knees go heavy. I have some sleep problems, other problems that are listed. I'm also extremely anxious.
Are these symptoms of low testosterone?

most likely not. This stuff symptoms like these by my experience on the forums don't have anything to do with hormones even when hormones are low and need treatment. But things like anxiety and the like have little do with TRT, etc..,

My only comment on my good friend Vince Carter's observation relates to your "sleep problems." We know that lack of sleep can hammer hormones. Dr., Saya has noted that there is "an undiagnosed epidemic" of sleep apnea in North America.

As far as I'm aware I don't suffer from sleep apnea. My sleep problems are sometimes I can't get off to sleep or I wake up early and inrefreshed and just not feeling like doing anything.

Your symptoms sure don't sound like testosterone related issues. I agree with the other two members, I would investigate this a lot further.

I have been to my GP a lot to try and find out what is wrong. All he says is it's anxiety and depression. I know something is not right, but am at a loss as to what is.

You do have low T, I would run a complete testosterone panel along with a complete thyroid panel with reverse T3.

Hopefully my bloods tomorrow will shed some light when I get the results.

I am on an SSRI, have been for a while, so it's not a side effect of it. This all started 3 months ago and I've not been right since then.
Years ago I went through withdrawal of SSRIs, and it's a bit like that, but not getting better.
I've always been a very positive person and slept well, but now I don't and the only way I can describe it as I'm feeling fatigued, no motivation, even if I get a good night's sleep I still feel tired, plus these other issues and I do have erectile dysfunction.

I believe it was the withdrawl off medicine after 30 years to be responsible for my low testosterone and hypothyroidism, I was fine before withdrawal. Withdrawal can stress out the glands in the body, recovering from withdrawal requires that your glands return to baseline and unfortunately for me that didn't happen. The SSRIs in the long run will cause you health problems, some of them irreversible.

I went through withdrawal in 2011 when I was cold swapped from one SSRI to another then another. I got through that and was ok, but now i don't know what's going on. It all stems from a traumatic shock over 3 months and I've not been right since
