Switching from MWF to Daily Testosterone Injections. Follow My Results!

Since late August of this year. My HCT has always hung out between 46-48% and with my Ferritin already so low I'm afraid to donate =/

When starting trt hematocrit will increase within the first month and the biggest increase will be seen at the 3-6 month mark where levels tend to. stabilize for most but even then some men can still see an increase 9-12 months in before levels stabilize.

You started therapy late August and in post #3 your lab work 2017-10-25.pdf which is only 2 months later and has your hematocrit in a descent range but to truly know where it would end up on your 180 mg/week (60 mg M/W/F ) you would need to give it 6 months.

Many seem to think that after 3 months on said protocol that their hematocrit/hemoglobin is not going to increase anymore when in fact for most it will take 6 months to reach peak levels, mind you so many change their protocols often or start donating right away that one would never really truly know where their hematocrit/hemoglobin would end up in the long run on said dose of T.

Ferritin dropping fast while on TRT might indicate too much hepcidin supression (and not that you had inflammation before starting TRT). The higher the dosage the higher the supression. You best bet is to reduce your dosage

Hey guys, hope you don't mind if I chime in. I started my protocol in November and have been doing daily injections of .15 ml (30mg test) daily with 500IU of HCG every 4 days.

Starting Numbers: Testosterone, Serum 243
Free Testosterone(Direct) 8.1
DHEA-Sulfate 498.9
TSH 0.682 uIU/mL
Luteinizing Hormone(LH), S
LH 2.8 mIU/mL
Prostate-Specific Ag, Serum
Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.6
Estradiol, Sensitive 10.2
Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 39.3

Current Numbers:
Testosterone,Free and Total
Testosterone, Serum 1049
Free Testosterone(Direct) 23.4 pg/mL
DHEA-Sulfate 373.1 ug/dL
TSH 1.530 uIU/mL
Prolactin 12.4 ng/mL
Prostate-Specific Ag, Serum
Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.9
Estradiol, Sensitive 40.8
Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 37.7

In addition to the change in levels I have also had a reduction in total and bad (LDL)cholesterol and an increase in good (HDL). I am a little worried about the current Estradiol but Defy said that everything looked good and I feel great (knock on wood). What are the opinions of the group?

Regardless of what the numbers look like, when you say you feel great, that's more than good enough for me. If you were a low SHBG guy I'd be preaching for you to lower your estrogen, but that's not the case.

Hey everyone! Just as the title says, after reading some posts on this website I have decided to give daily injections a shot to see how much, if any, difference it makes in both labs and overall sense of well-being. I would also really like to eliminate having to take anastrazole, if at all possible, as well as keeping my Test levels consistent without the peaks and troughs to more closely mimic our natural rhythms.

Over the last 2 months, I was on a MWF schedule for my Testosterone Cypionate taking 60mg each injection SubQ, totaling 180mg per week. I was also taking 400iU of HCG every Tues and Thursday, totaling 800iU per week. Because my Estradiol had crept up to 49, I was also taking 0.25mg of anastrazole each day I injected my Testosterone, totaling 0.75mg per week.

On that protocol, I certainly felt MUCH better than I did before starting treatment. I had enough energy to get my ass up and doing things again, my libido and erections finally came back full force, I was able to finally see strength/muscle gains in the gym as well as recover faster, and just overall feel better.

I will include my pre-treatment labs, as well as my most recent labs where I was following the aforementioned protocol.

The plan is to inject 24mg of Testosterone Cypionate per day, totaling 168mg per week. I am lowering my weekly dosage because I've seen several guys show that doing daily injections required less weekly amounts of Test were necessary. I am also going to inject HCG daily, as well, doing 125iU per day - totaling 875iU per week. I've seen this protocol mentioned in regards to Dr. Crisler as being very beneficial so I thought I would give it a try.

I will do my best to consistently update my progress, such as how I feel, libido, fat loss, labs, etc. I just thought it would be interesting to not only keep a diary of how this goes, but also share with you fine folks ;)

If you guys have any questions or would like to see my post anything specific, please let me know!
Any updates?? I would Love to hear about your journey and follow the path you ultimately found to date. (6/26)

It sounds like a reasonable plan. Keep in mind, that with estrogen, hcg can be the culprit. For me, it raised my estrogen and lowered my T. In other words, it ramped up conversion big time. And protocol changes did not help. It was after that experience I just decided to clean out and am no longer on TRT and doing great. With a little help from Clomid and Cialis. And peptides...
Just curious, (9yrs later) hows your Clomid and Cialis. And peptides protocol going?? Hard to believe this would replace legit TRT. ***But, man I am listening and trying to learn

Thx!

I also tanked my Ferritin and felt exhausted. Your Ferritin is only 19, so no wonder you feel exhausted.
I watched Dr. John Crisler say that: "I want to see Ferritin at 100-150"

Obviously you need to stop Iron supplements ASAP once Ferritin is back on track, but you should supplement hard for at least 2 weeks after donating to put Ferritin close to 100, and then stop, to avoid feeding the HCT rise.

Any more data with your daily injection experiments? I'm planning to join dailies soon as well :)
Personally, I'd LOVE to see my Ferritin even near 100 while on TRT!! It can not and will not happen for me taking a TRT dose that actually remedies the symptoms hypogonadism. I'm taking a typical weekly dose 200mg +/- of Cypionate. I've done one bolus injection, or 100mg+/- bi-weekly and most any other administration frequency IM or SubQ... ALWAYS the same result. Ferritin remains low on TRT.

TRT dosages alone lower Ferritin. Donations compound the Lowering effect even more. Consequently, TRT lowers hepcidin—the body’s main iron-regulating hormone—TRT increases iron availability and absorption, which is a primary reason testosterone therapy can raise hemoglobin and hematocrit.

Combined that with eating iron rich Red meat, Iron supp's and a rigorous High intensity Training regimen and many guys (me) are RBC over achievers, necessitating too frequent donations to ever dream of being above 50-60 Ferritin...

US Clinics and Doc's require phlebotomy or Donation >50% Hct. Which is total BS. 54% is a very well documented and established as being a safe and accepted limit for TRT patients. Which "IF" 54% was ok with these DA US doctors, I'd be Golden. As my #'s hover around 50% even after a Donation and have been stable there for yrs. So, I'm almost ALWAYS living with crashed Iron and Ferritin due to their unfounded donation protocol.

Crashed Iron and Ferritin symptoms are VERY similar to the symptoms of Low T!!
