Should I start on Testosterone, or explore other avenues.

I'm a 45yo male. In the last couple of years I've noticed my general energy level decrease, as well as motivation and drive. In my country you can't get TRT unless your test level is very low. I've had all my tests done now and while my test levels are pretty low, it's now low enough to get trt. So the only option would be to do it myself. Before deciding on doing this, I want to make sure I've explored all the other ways to get my test back up to where I'd like it. Here are my blood test results.

Testosterone 8.4nmol/L
Free Test 191.5pmol/L
Oestradiol 97pmol/L
FSH 9IU/L
LH 4.4IU/L
SHBG 20nmol/L

My free test is the main problem here - I was in the 'low' range.

Some on here suggested I get thyroid and cortisol tested. I've now had that done, here are the results. I also got DHEA tested as well.

DHEA-S 8.1 umol/L Range 3-10

Cortisol 335 nmol/L Range 120-620
TSH 2.1 mIU/L Range 0.5-4
FT3 5 pmol/L Range 3.5-6
FT4 19 pmol/L Range 10-20
TGAb < 20 IU/ml Range <41
TPOAb 37 u/ml Range <60

I'm in the normal range for thyroid, cortisold and DHEA.

So my question is, is there anything else I could try? Or is trt the only way I'm going to get my test levels back up to a good level?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
