Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

Really encourage you to get that sleep study done and report back here with results. Sleep apnea can kill testosterone levels and libido as well. Please let us know!

I'm scheduled for tomorrow night and results should come quickly. According to the initial consultation I have narrow nasal passages and a cramped palate that would predispose me to sleep apnea. Both my parents have it, and despite me not being obese or heavily overweight, I know that I have really poor quality sleep.

I'll report back with what I find out. My plan is to do CPAP (assuming it works for me) and then retest in a couple months and take note of how I feel. If CPAP works I anticipate my blood work improving across the board, but we'll see.

Sleep study came back. I have mild sleep apnea. 18 ahi, 87% o2. I have a CPAP now that I still haven't been able to fall asleep on for more than a few minutes at a time. Hopefully I get used to it and can sleep through the night.

My doctor told me that the "normal range" was 240-1000 and since I'm at 307 they won't do TRT despite having 205 in my first test. As I've contacted other doctors, even urologists it's clear that A) most don't have the slightest clue about how to treat low T and B) they don't care since it's not immediately life threatening.

I just contacted Defy. Hopefully they will take the labwork I've already had and only require met to take the labs I haven't had yet so I can save some $$$ since I don't have much disposable income.
