Restart After nine Months

Into my 6th week of my second restart with TRT after nine months off.
Feeling great-energy up-losing body fat in the mid section.
This go around I am staying off of all other androgenic supplements and staying on fish oil and D-3.
I started with 100mg every seven days and dropped back to 60mg recently.
My uro wants me at 50mg weekly but I think it's to low. Will negotiate.
Previously I had issues with a rising hematocrit and psa.
Starting psa is at 2.0 and I expect it to rise again which at that point I'll biopsy.
I think as others have previously said that staying off of androgenic supplements is wise while on TRT-at least for six months into your regimen to see how you are adjusting.

Totally agree with this. When starting the TRT, you need at minimum 6 months to see where your "maintained" levels are going to be. Starting any other androgens alongside before you know for sure what your TRT is doing will only confuse things......and make you crazy!

You don't need 6 months to evaluate serum levels; 6 weeks is enough time.

Also, 60 mg a week is a very low dose considering that only ~70% of that makes into the blood stream due to the wait of the ester so the dose is so low that it may not have a very effective androgenic effect on you.

That's why 100 mg for most men is the best low dose that provides the effect we want.

A TRT dose of 50 mg/ week is worse than no TRT since it will leave you hypogonadal. If your PSA is 2 without TRT I would not get a biopsy even if it went to 4. By the way, how much did your PSA go up to on your last try at TRT?

Increased hematocrit can easily be managed with phlebotomy. Underdosing TRT due to fears of high hematocrit is not a smart thing to do.

Gene I do agree with you that even 60mg is a low dose but at 100mg my nerves pop for at least two days at 100mg.
I am very aggressive and impatient which is way out of the norm for me.
Also dealing with my Uro right now is nuts as he thinks a total T of 300 in great and that he expects no gain for me on 50mg.
Which this could be true as it is a looow dose.
He did not want to see me back for six months at which time I will try to push him to 80mg but its doubtful.
I had a few extras to tie me over so we'll see.
I do have a question about HCG.
I tried it sub q a few months the last try and it sent me into sweats and anxiety.
Would trying it I.M. be different in the way it is metabolized.
I would like to add it to my regimen to keep my nuts in shape.
I have a rather large set that I'd like to keep in tact and as you've stated before there are so many other receptors in the body that take it up.

I would inject whatever it takes to get you to feel good....of course, without abusing it.

Thanks for all of your replies
PSA moved to 3.0 from 1.4 in a year.
Also the 50mg is the standard dose from this doctor. Being a Urologist I believe that he may be scared of cancer as he sees a lot of it.
I would try another doc but money is always an issue. Being that my total t lingers between 400-500 most doctors would not treat. I am more into having a mid range free t as I believe that's why I feel so much better.
I would like your take on hcg I.M. verses sub q.
As stated earlier I tried sub q even at 100iu and had bad anxiety.
Would hcg metabolize differently and more slowly I.M. .
My shift key isn't working the question mark for grammar
