Questions / help with gyno

So I've been on T therapy for 4 months. I had a previous lump before T therapy that subsided on its own. It's now back with a second and they are very tender. It hurts when I wrestle with my kids. My E2 is under control at 19 and my T was last 781. All other labs are good too. My doc has me on 60mg progesterone a day to help with DHT control. I read that Dr Crisler doesn't like progesterone in men but several articles I read stated benefits and even that it helps prevent gyno. Any thoughts on causation and maybe if I should stop the progesterone?

It *might* be the progesterone. Only way to know is to stop taking it for a few weeks and see if the issues goes away.

Has your doctor checked your progesterone levels?

60mg of progesterone is a LARGE dose for a male (I have many of my female patients on doses slightly more than that).

Dr Saya, my DHT level was 154 ng/dl when the upped my progesterone dose. Do you think this high DHT is of concern or would I be better off just stopping the progesterone? I'm not sure I like the idea of taking it. I'm just not sure if high DHT is of concern other than hairloss.

PSA was low, .7 I think. Not a concern anyway. The frustrating part is that I feel great otherwise. The therapy brought my energy and mood back to what I thought wasn't possible.
