Question about dosage of T3/T4 dosing and Thyroid values.

Another Great Day

Active Member
63 years of age and have struggled with fat loss for decades. I walk 70,000+ steps per week, lift weights 5 days per week. I eat a very strict diet consisting of: oatmeal, chicken breast, salmon, lean pork, vegetables, yogurt. I weight the meat for correct portion control.

I am currently taking one T3/T4 pill per day and my prescription allows up to 2(two) capsules am, as directed. If I begin to take 2 (two) capsules per day would I be elevating the Free T3 too high since it is at 3.7 pg/ml? Would I benefit form a higher dose of T4 Free since my current value is at 1.1 ng/dl?

Has anyone had success with T3/T4 therapy?
