Pregnenolone Dose and Timing Question

I've recently started taking 30mg of Pregnenolone. What's the optimum time to take it, before sleeping or in the morning. I've read conflicting thoughts.

I've also read conflicting thoughts on that. I was taking it at night and changed to when I wake up but I can't tell a difference either way. My Pregnenolone levels are increasing.

If you don’t mind me asking, what brand are you taking and how much per day? And how much did your pregnenolone levels increase?

I supplement with both Pure brand 10 mg of pregnenolone along with Jarrow 25 mg of DHEA right before bed. I believe DHEA give me a better night's sleep I don't know about pregnenolone and sleep. But I know when I started taking it before bed I do get a better sleep.

Before I started taking Pregnenolone I had my levels tested along with Progesterone and DHEA-s. My Pregnenolone was <10 and Dr Crisler recommends it around 150 and Life Extension recommends it around 180. My Progesterone was undetectable, and my DHEA-s was only 62.8 on a range that goes up to 344. I had these test performed back in late May.

I retested on July 20th and Pregnenolone had moved up to 41, Progesterone up to 0.3 and DHEA-s up to 322.8.

I still have a ways to go on the Pregnenolone and want to take it to the 150 to 180 range. Men don't need much Progesterone but we do need small amounts so I want to move it up a bit to 0.5, and I am almost at the top of the range on DHEA-s but have heard Crisler and others say that they like to see DHEA-s in the 500 range so I am going to push it up a little higher.

I am probably calmer than I have ever been or at least that I can remember. I have always been in a high stress job and have handled it well or at least to others I handled it well but internally sometimes it would eat me alive, I just hid it well. Now I actually feel calm. I don't seem to have any side effects from taking the Preg, Prog, or DHEA-s like some do.

This is what I am doing currently:

AllVia Progensa Complete cream. One pump gives me 20 mg of Progesterone, 15% of Pregnenolone, and 15% of 7 Keto DHEA (Not the same as DHEA). I apply each morning. Once I get my Progesterone up to 0.5 I will probably stop this.

Douglas Labs 25 mg of Pregnenolone. Dissolve in the mouth in the morning. I just ordered Nutricology Pregnenolone 50 mg Sustained Release that I am going to start taking to increase my levels faster.

Douglas Labs 25 mg DHEA. Dissolve in mouth at bedtime.

Some people say they can't take Preg or DHEA but it doesn't seem to give me any negative effects. Crisler and others recommend up 60 mg to 100 mg of Preg a day. My levels of all three hormones were extremely low to undetectable so I felt like I needed to do something to increase them.

What I know is I have great libido, no ED, nice morning wood, no acne, feel dialed in with my protocol, and feel calmer.
