Pill Splitter?

For those of you who take a 0.5 mg or 0.25 mg dose of Arimidex, how do you split the 1 mg pills in halves or quarters? Do you have any recommendations?

Pill splitters work ok, but with tiny pills like arimidex I've found it more precise to use a very sharp X-acto knife on a tabletop. You can also get capsules of your exact dosage made up at compounding pharmacies if you don't want to bother with splitting them and want to make sure you're getting exactly the correct dose every time.

I know it's not professional and might be construed as "ghetto" but I use a razor blade and a plate. Cuts right through it . I do fourths no prob
