Peak testosterone level?

G'day guys,
I inject 75mg of primoteston every 3.5 day into mt delts. My last blood work showed that my total testosterone was at 872. The blood test was done just before my next injection.
I follow Nelsons protocol. HCG included(250iu)
My question is, if that is my trough level, what estimate would you think my peak would get to?

I realise it would vary between individuals. Just looking for a guestimate. Curious.

Others will pipe in and confirm this, but given you are doing a 3.5 EOD injection, I am not sure your peak will be much higher than your trough, with the increased injection frequency, the serum numbers usually settle into a steady state.

I injected 60mg/every 3.5 days and posted a peak of 1035, a trough of 788. My slightly low SHBG was the culprit. I did feel a slight dip in energy before my next injection came due. In general, though, I think Tom is right.

Like Tom and Coastwatcher said, the beauty of twice per week injections is that we experience less variations in blood levels of testosterone and estradiol.

I would not be surprised if your trough level is above 675 ng/dL.

How do you feel? How long have you been on that regimen?

Hi Nelson,

i started trt trt in late February this year. The doc started me on testogel, but my levels never came up past 300. After that I requested the change to injections. So about 1.5 months on 50mg every 3.5 days. Then changed to 75mg every 3.5 days. I'm feeling a lot better compared to pre trt. Still up and down a bit, mainly due to stress, I believe. Pre trt my l was only at 111. I'm starting to get gains at the gym. Which is nice.
My level of 872 is my trough reading.

I also inject every 3 1/2 days, when I was injecting 70mg my levels of testosterone 933 my free was 15.7 (6.8-18.1) I've since increased to 80mg and feel great. But have not had my new levels checked yet.

Thanks for your reply James. Unfortunately Tasmania, where I live, is not very close to the U.S. So utilising Discount labs isn't really an option for me. I was only trying to learn. Not looking for exact figures.

Clockwatcher , I have low SHBG but inform me why was your T in the high range on a low T dose when ive read low SHBG level effects T levels ? Thanks

The low SHBG causes one to "metabolize" or "excrete" Test quickly - that is why he dropped from 1035 to 788 so quickly. I have low SHBG as well so I am familiar. Guys with regular SHBG levels would not drop so much in 3.5 days.

I've been wondering this lately too. Since going on every 3.5 day injections (same dose as the original poster, 75mg each time) my total T has gone from 788 to 718. Not feeling as well as I was prior to this new protocol and I've been wondering if we need to go up on my T dose again. I thought the 718 was a trough, but apparently that might not be too far from the peak on this protocol according to this info.

Ero, maybe that's why ive improved on x2 weekly injections

Why the increase in dosage? To lower Free T and increase SHBG?

I've increase my testosterone to 80mg almost 6 months ago, just to give it a try to see how I would feel. For whatever reason I felt great before and even better now.
