Does anyone know why oral DHEA and pregnenolone are considered safe, but oral testosterone is not. It seems that if oral testosterone is unsafe, then oral dhea/preg would be unsafe for the same reasons.
Regarding oral testosterone if you are referring to methyltestosterone than YES as it is c17 alpha-alkylated which increases its bio availability and prevents it from being broken down during the first pass through your liver but at the cost of being liver toxic
If you are referring to ANDRIOL-testosterone undecanoate which is only available in CANADA than NO as it is designed to be absorbed through the lymphatic system thus bypassing the destructive first pass through the liver.
It is the METHYLATION of oral testosterone which makes it liver toxic................DHEA/PREGNOLONE are not methylated.
