Once a week injections

I keep reading on these type of forums that once a week injections is not very good and you should inject at least twice a week. If this is true than why are there so many of these Low T Center type places popping up everywhere that endorse once a week injections. I am seeing more and more of these type chains showing up in my area so they must be getting plenty of customers.

I would imagine that once a week is probably better for a lot of guys than no TRT at all, and that these clinics can make a lot of money by bringing guys in for a weekly shot of testosterone and charging them for it?

Lack of knowledge from the clinic, and lack of knowing better with the clients. And I agree with the statement above. Once a week can work for a lot of guys, and would definitely be better than no TRT at all, or levels are in fact low.

Once a week is all that has ever worked for me. Splitting the dose any, affects me negatively. You most certainly can do well with once weekly injections.

Two reasons: One, they endorse once a week injections because they've done their research and know most customers won't show up more often than that. And two (but most importantly), they're PRINTING money by doing so. They're charging ~$60 for a 5-minute visit, which costs them less than $5 worth of testosterone/needle/alcohol swipe/etc. The profit margin is INSANE.

These once weekly protocols fits their business model, they charge for administering the injection. Most of these clinics only care about profit, your health is a distant second.

one thing if it's still true now but they did take insurance when I (unfortunately) was with lowT center and that's a huge plus in the financials of a lot of guys. Having to cash OOP can be barrier for a lot of men so you can tolerate most of the clinics other short-comings.
I was getting a weekly Cyp inj for just $15.00 at the counter.

How the Low T Industry Is Cashing in on Dubious, and Perhaps Dangerous, Science

So, let's give the benefit of the doubt that they aren't charging the insurance companies more than the cash price. I doubt that's true, but let's go with that. $395 per month for 4 shots, that's $98.75 per visit. They say they're seeing about 75 men a day. That's $7406 a day. The one closest to me is open 6 days a week, so in a 4 week month they're bringing in $177k a month gross in a three thousand square foot retail space, with very low startup compared cost. They are making damn good money off this.
