Oil leakage after shoulder injection

Hey Guys,

I've been doing injections of test cyp in my left shoulder with a 27ga 1/2" needle and some leaks out almost every time. Does anyone have any idea why this is?

Is it because the needle I'm using isn't long enough?

and

Do I need to be worried I'm not getting my full dosage?

Justin, im new to TRT but also inject in my delts and i leave the needle in for a few seconds and have no leakage whatsoever

Yes, leave the needle in a couple of extra seconds. Also, you were likely losing like a drop at most, so I would not worry too much about messing up your dosing. Since the T is in an oil base, just one drop can run or leave what looks like a lot of liquid on top of your skin.

I also inject in the shoulders and have some leakage. I'm not concerned as long as my testosterone levels are good.

This is why I don't use such short needles.

I inject 1 1/4" deep into my gluts and never have even a drop of blood and know that the Testosterone is delivered deep into the muscle tissue for absorption.

Awesome, thanks for all the tips dudes! I'll prob try a longer needle as Gene suggested and leave it in for a few seconds after I inject.
