Latest labs. Should I be worried about the DHEA sulfate and estradiol numbers?

Labcorp did the test Voila_Capture 2017-04-25_07-06-38_AM.webp

51 years old not on TRT
6'1" 204 lbs

Total T 1,051
Free T 19.3
LH 6.3
FSH 5.0
T4 1.78
TSH 1.78
DHEA-S 837.0
Estradiol 47.6

Take multi, DHEA, Fish Oil and tadalafil daily.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What negative symptoms are you experiencing? That's the question, no just numbers on a test. I would tho cut back the DHEA thats like twice over lab ranges, but the E...if there's nothing negative then why change it? Bu tobviously you have the wrong test there, you need the (ultra) sensitive LC/MS/MS test. The test you got is for females and typically overestimates E in men.

According to Dr Crisler, over-supplementing DHEA can raise estradiol. I think it's pretty clear that's the root of the issue. Not to mention, your highish PSA could also be from high estradiol. On the other hand, your testosterone numbers are amazing for not being on trt. I wonder what your numbers would have been at age 22

How much DHEA are you taking? I'm an old guy that needed very little DHEA/Pregnenolone supplementation to boost my DHEA levels into the high end of the range. I started with 25mg DHEA/30mg Pregnenolone daily, and it was too much...I was off scale high. Titrated down to 15mg DHEA/15mg Pregnenolone, and it was right where I needed to be.

Yes, the DHEA can also increase your E2 as well, especially if you're gobbling DHEA capsules like Pez.

Not the Sensitive E2 lab so the value could be over estimated as we know.

Reduce DHEA and E2 will come down as well as PSA which is effected as well.

Stunning values for a 51 yo.

Wow! No TRT? Clomid? T booster? Your LH and FSH are intact so I can tell you are not on TRT.

I have never seen "natural" lab values for men your age (or any age, for that matter).

Your estradiol is good based on your total T (.3 %)

Decrease your DHEA dose by half.
