No appetite, but can't lose weight, and HCG dependency question

Question 1:
I'm on 200mg Test cypionate/week pin 2X/eek)
Was taking .5 arimidex 2X/week - now backed it off to .25 2X/week
HCG 500U 2X/week

I'm 6'4"230, I'd guess around 15%-20% bodyfat, eating 2500 calories a day on a 40/40/20 (protein carb fat) split.
Lift HARD 5 days a week, cardio 30 min 4X/week, can't lose a lb and don't look any different after 5 weeks.

Also, my appetite sucks.

Anybody have any guesses WTF is going on??

Question 2
I read on this site that your body can become dependent on HCG if taken over a long enough period of time. At this dosage am I at risk for becoming dependent on HCG to produce my own testosterone??

I think I need to clarify my second question. My T level was right at 400 when I started low T therapy. If I decide I don't want to do this forever, I want my body to produce at what it was before.....but it won't do that if my own production has become dependent on the HCG. So I want to make sure my own production itsn't tied to HCG if I decide to come off of TRT.

Does this clarify?

Your body will not become dependent on HCG, but it may make it easier to do a restart. Because you will have full testicles.

To address your question about losing weight, you mention a 2,500 cal diet,(17,500/week) do you do any Intermittent Fasting? Also do you vary your total caloric intake from day to day? Both of these methods can produce results, dropping your cal to 2,000 4 x a week, to 2,500 2x week and 3,000 1 x week,(16,000/week) will help reduce your weekly total cal intake, and lose weight slowly (and safely). Technically you should lose almost 1 lb every 2 weeks with my cal intake of 16,000/week.

The best way to lose weight, that I found. Cut out carbs and eat fat, I know it's hard but you will lose weight.

As far as weight loss (fat loss) - You might try shifting your macro ratios to lower carbs. Less stored glycogen in your system means you'll get to burning fat for fuel more quickly. BUT - you want to keep protein high, so you don't use stored protein (muscle) for fuel.

I'd recommend trying something like 50/20/30 (Protein/Carbs/Fat).

It's "low carb" versus "no carb" - but has worked well for me and others I know.

You can also consider Intermittent Fasting as mentioned above. A good book on the subject with science-backing is Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon.

I would stop the anastrozole and try Metformin at 500 mg twice per day.

You say your appetite sucks. Don't you want low appetite to lose weight?

When you get off TRT and HCG you can start a clomiphene plus Tamoxifen PCT regimen. The fact that you have been on HCG may help your endogenous T production to come back to baseline faster.

I don't know if this is a factor or not, but even if everything else is dialed in, wouldn't a sluggish/under performing thyroid result in a reduced metabolism making it hard to lose weight?
Do you have any symptoms that would correlate with a sluggish thyroid?

I'm unsure about the thyroid symptoms.....i feel great right now. Good energy, good mood, morning wood everyday and strong sex drive. I've never had thyroid problems in the past
