LOW HGB and HCT!

TRTMI

New Member
I know most people on TRT end up donating blood as HGB and HCT rise. I seem to be having the opposite issue. My HGB and HCT keep going down every blood test and I have not donated blood at all. Anyone else have this happen and what causes this? This didn’t start happening until I started using TRT. I donated blood a few times a year before TRT with no issues like this. Always had good levels.

Before TRT
HGB: 15.5
HCT: 46%

After TRT:
HGB: 13.9
HCT: 41%

Anyone had this issue?
The only time I had that issue was, when I was donating blood and not on trt. Your levels are not too low. There may be a number of reasons why your levels are going down. None are good reasons. If it continues or you are concerned I would see a doctor and get checked out.
