Ah yes, I didn't catch that. I should've known there was a method to the madness. The fact that links don't highlight has thrown me off before. Anyway, you deserve mod status...not sure if you want that responsibility, but you have my vote.

Full disclosure, I have color vision issues. However I looked at your post again immediately after you told me about connecting the threads and I still could not discern any difference between the message and the link. Since then you have edited the post, and now that the link is on another line I can tell the difference but barely. I cannot see any difference in the original message appearing as a quote. So me missing links might all be down to my vision problems. I do recall some links being emboldened (madman's for instance), and those always stand out.

Anyway, definitely not suggesting you change anything, just explaining why I thought some links were not highlighted.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to explain that. Always looking for ways to make my posts more accessible and readable.

I've mentioned the other issue on here with spoiler previews on EM links not matching the actual text in the post but so far MGMT has not done anything about that one.

I'll make sure to add links using the revised approach in the screenshot above from now on!

I get mine like this, they come in the 1ml ampoule and I only take 0,5 and the doc told me to discard the rest.
I was thinking to save the rest for next pin in a syringe.
How safe is that and is anyone doing that?

I know that some time has passed since its publication but I am interested in knowing how he was able to solve the dosing of the ampoules, here in my country also only ampoules, vials are not available, I am thinking of preloading but I am a little worried about sterility.

I too have been getting my testosterone in 1 ml ampoules, I tried to fill four syringes with.25 ml, but I only had enough to for three syringes, maybe with a tad in a fourth. So I decided to hell with it and injected the entire 1 ml once a week. I was able to fill a 1 ml syringe with the contents of of a 1 ml ampoule, so the losses must occur in the syringes.
I still inject the Hcg 3 x per week.

No problem at all with preloading, as long s you follow strict sanitary guidelines are followed, which you should be doing anyway.

Same here, started to split in multiple times, 4 to 5 x 1 ampoule of Testoviron 250 and I showed my doctor last week and he said, great! That is much better and more physiological than injecting every other week.

I get my Testosterone Enathate in 1ml glass ampules. After I break the ampule open I use a filter needle to draw the Testosterone into five sterile syringes with 0.18ml each which I store in covered with sterile needles with their caps unopened. I use these syringes for my bi-weekly injections for the next 2.5 weeks.

The alternative scenario for me would be to draw the entire 1ml testosterone from the broken glass ampule into a sterile vial and to draw before each injection. In such a scenario the testosterone would be exposed pretty much the same to the air in the environment once the ampule is broken (which is the risk highlighted in the link Gene provided above). Thus I prefer the convenience of having ready to inject syringes. Never had a problem with this method.

Back in 2015 the FDA flagged some syringes made by BD which used rubber stoppers that may have interacted and affected the potency of certain drugs in stored pre-filled syringes (Testosterone and HCG were not on that list of drugs). BD announced in early 2018 that it replaced the rubber stoppers in these syringes and the issue was resolved. See the link below.

I also do what you've mentioned but preload four syringes, each with 0.25ml, then I pin 0.05ml every day so my last pin is 20 days later. I've been doing it for years and will continue doing it for years to come. It's perfect for me

Nonetheless, an approach that reduces risk is to withdraw the solution from ampules using a syringe with a filter needle—as mentioned above—and then after switching to a normal needle inject the syringe contents into one or more empty sterile vials. Doses are withdrawn from the vial(s) as needed with fresh syringes. It's cheap insurance against glass and microbial contamination, plunger degradation, etc. As an aside, a basic filter needle is not providing the added protection against microbes—it's just that a vial is more robust than a syringe with respect to keeping them out. You could go all out and use a 0.22 µm syringe filter, but at the expense of significant dead space loss. Or you could re-sterilize with heat, but that might have it's own problems and is really getting carried away relative to the risk.

I follow the aforementioned procedure myself, as filter-needle/vial transfer is how I divide up a progesterone ampule to yield vials that do not end up excessively punctured with the small 200 µg daily doses.

I have been on TRT for quite a long time. Originally I received 10-ml vials, which I used for 3 months. I never had any problems. Then a couple of years ago I could only get 1-ml single use vials. I used each vial for 3 doses. I never had any problems. Maybe I am just lucky, or maybe it’s perfectly safe.
