Is DHT suppression that detrimental?

Can't seem to really find a general consensus anywhere. Some people say DHT is important for a number of things and some say it isn't that critical after you finish developing.

I started finasteride a couple of months ago, but I do not want this to be a discussion about the drug itself and its side effect profile. I have experienced ZERO sides. I'm just wondering if suppressing DHT is really that detrimental to hypertrophy or other benefits of TRT.

In my observation of this topic. it is pretty clear that some people really need and benefit from DHT and others that don't seem to have much of a response to it, so I don't think there is one answer to your question. There is also the issue that some people can seem to tolerate low levels for a period of time and then suddenly have an issue, sometimes a major, hard-to-correct issue.

Do you mean detrimental to muscle building? No, only maybe regarding CNS activation and strength.
