Oral supplementation of B does not work for you? There are numerous telemedicine websites that work with compounding pharmacies that stock the injection type. Some of the pharmacies will also give you a recommendation to a physician they work with who provides that therapy also. If you have health insurance, try to find a doctor on your plan that will give it to you.

I’m also on metformin. I did increase my B vitamins after having my levels checked. All of my B vitamins levels are over top range now.

Methylcobalamin is the form of B12 that is most bioavailable to the body. It is also the most expensive. Most Lipotropic injections are made with cyanocobalamin in addition to the lipo ingredients. If you have the MTHFR Gene mutation, you should only use the methyl form of B12, as it passes more easily into the cells, rather than floating around in the blood stream just giving you high numbers, but actually nothing is going on intracellularly. I personally take a little methyl plus some lipotropics with cyan. My doc will mail to you, either individually 4/$75 for LipoB, or I did buy a vial of LipoB from him - I got 30, 1ml injections out of it. I think? it was $299 + $5 for syringes and $12 to mail - that was a couple of years ago though. Richard is the guy I deal with there. [email protected]
