Igf-1 results

Defy had a special for follow up labs and I got a free Igf-1 test. Results great: 205
Range for my age is: 67-205 and my age is 48 soon to be 49. This is the first time I have ever had it tested.

Did they give you a Z score, too? I think that's been in mine before though I had a little trouble interpreting it.

Only Quest does the z-score (not LabCorp), but a z-score is simply a statistical calculation giving standard deviations from the mean.

Dang Pranayama does this mean you have a lot of growth hormone? 49YO and a 205 wow that number is high. It this a good thing?
I mean at your age why is that number so high what is your body doing? Why does it need so much IGF-1? I ask because I am just trying to get smart on the subject and howit might be part of hormone therapy.

Good question...I have no idea lol. I just know I am in range. Good enough for me I guess? I am assuming higher numbers are good. People have always said I look at least ten years younger than my age.
