I am stopping TRT

Grrrr

After 6 years of trying to get TRT to work I decided to throw in the towel after TRT causing me bad fatigue. I need a nap everyday while on TRT.
I have experimented with dozens of protocols and I never feel good on any of them.
I will continue using a low dose clomiphene as my HRT for life.

Good luck to you.

I stopped awhile ago after trying different protocols and noting worked well.

I feel pretty good off. My sleep is much improved. TRT causes me to snore....never snores in my life until TRT. Now that I am off....snoring went away.

Sexual function is back....on TRT I could rarely get off. I have never had ED, but in TRT I just could never finish and when I actually could, it was very under satisfying. Partially to do with the low amount of volume that TRT would cause me.

And while my workouts and recovery are better on TRT as well as how my body feels, there seem to be more down sound for me.

I am sure I will revisit it down the road....but for now, I am better off of it.

Hang in there.

For the life of me I don’t understand why anyone would touch TRT unless their dick wasn’t working, Ie... not getting morning wood, no libido, and moderate or worse ED. Way too often people are chasing some nebulous “feeling” that they think they should have or worse, for gym gainz!

maybe TRT is not about sex for some?

I was gaining weight, felt sluggish, brain fog, etc. even though I eat pretty clean, do not drink, use drugs, etc.

I also have high SHBG (70+) so my free T is low.

I was hoping TRT would help me get back on track.

What it did was cause many negative side effects that just are not worth it to me.

So again, sorry for the guys who have sexual issues that think TRT is going to fix.
There are many on here who started TRT thinking they were going to be a porn star only to find out that having sexual issues she me times runs deeper then a “pill” can fix.

Gaining weight is always calories in vs out thing. I’ve seen both here and Reddit that the guys who don’t find TRT to be beneficial were overwhelmingly guys who were chasing a feeling vs measurable, physical, problems.

Not saying any or all physical problems are magically cured 100%. It just seems like those guys have better success ratios by a huge margin for whatever reason.

*shrug*
