Hitting a vein in delt

Someone told me to make a disclaimer for men who may not have enough mass in their shoulders.

Touché, Nelson. ;) I'm working on my chubbiness as we speak. :D Just got on one of those "InBody" body composition at Lipschultz' office on Friday and not happy with the results. I'll be working hard to get that down for the next 4 months.

In all seriousness, though, I never felt the need to aspirate on my delts but I can understand if people do have excess fat there it might be a good idea to either switch to another spot or aspirate to verify they're in a good spot.

Crazy video up there - don't think i'd want to inject into my chest. wow.

Question - he mentioned injecting in a spot 'where you want to build more muscle' or something like that. (He did say 'if there is a localized effect'...so he wasn't saying there definitely was.

BUT I wasn't aware of any sort of localized effects that would cause injection site to make a difference. Is there?

I wish it was true, I would have huge shoulders.

Well, I got back on the horse this morning and pinned my right delt. No issues at all! Followed Jackie Treehorn's location instructions and that obviously made a difference. I did two Shrek fingers from the acromian and all was good. Didn't feel the sensitivity I did before and no burning sensation as I was injecting. After looking at where I previously pinned compared to where I pinned today, I was down about 2" to 2.5" further down when I had my "episode".

I guess this holds true for more than just Real Estate.....LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!!

No harm done - it is all absorbed and any minor muscle damage from the injection has healed. I bet that hurt for a while, though!

May I ask...why would you do this? Did a medical professional advise you to inject test in that location?
