Hi Vince. I don't know why glucose was 39. I believe the lab repeated the assay from a retained sample and confirmed the result. No prior history of severe hypoglycemia. A1C has trended in a good range.

Your blood glucose is awfully low and you’d definitely be symptomatic if that was your real reading at the time. I’m a Paramedic and I’ve had patients with a blood glucose that low still appear fairly normal with the only complaint being weakness. Most other people, I would assume that specially non diabetics, would be very symptomatic with a blood glucose of 39 (I.e. confused, diaphoretic, incoherent, weak etc.)

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
