Got a therapeutic phlebotomy scheduled for tomorrow but thinking I won't bother. It was a three week battle to get the order. Four years ago things were looking bright with text book perfect labs and BP 115. Today it was 182/104 after moving up from 140's in recent weeks from the stress of trying to access labs and care.

Competent care is available of course its just moved to a cash-only basis.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
