Guys not tolerating HCG due to E2?

Seems like a lot of guys here don’t feel good when HCG is part of their protocol. Then you have people that feel great on it. Do you guys think this is due to E2, or some other factor(s)? Just looking to see what you guys think about it. Thanks.

I personally don't see much of a difference when I've not used it in the past as opposed to using it now.
I maintain its use strictly for fertility.
Again, lots of variety here among different guys so hopefully others will respond with their experiences.

I used HCG from day one of trt, I've never even thought of not using it. If I would have ever had high estrogen levels, I may have thought differently about it.

What doses have you tried? And what dose and frequency are you currently using? Have you noticed any increase in DHEA when using it, or drop in DHEA when you've stopped using it?

Do I remember you saying that you were primary Vince, and that's why you don't think you've had any E2 issues with it? Or was that Vince Carter? I sometimes get you two confused lol.

I supplement with 20mg DHEA daily, but can't speak to any changes in lab values with or without hCG to be honest.
I've always done 500 IU's every 3.5 days since I started using hCG.

Not that I can recall.
That would have been something interesting to track and test for though.

Ya it would of. Either way thanks for the responses. Ive come to learn that the best way to learn about this stuff is through people’s real world anecdotal stories, IMO. So appreciate it.

Yes I'm primary and pretty slim. Before I started trt I had very low estrogen levels. Though I believe with the help of 25 mg of DHEA, 10 mg of pregnenolone and maybe with HCG. My estrogen levels are finally good.

Thanks for the reply Vince. Ya maybe being primary keeps you from having much of an LH response to HCG, just like you didn’t have much response from your own endogenous LH before TRT. So if you don’t respond to the LH signal from HCG, then that would probably mean you wouldn’t have much of a testosterone or E2 response from HCG. But like you said, you needed an E2 boost, which most likely is coming from TRT and the DHEA, and maybe a little from the pregnenolone.

Before trt my LH was 17, pretty high, like most primary members.

Holy crap, that's crazy high. You pituitary was screaming its head off at your lazy ass testicles to get up and do something lol. So ya, your leydig cells don't respond at all to LH, most likely. I wonder if your testicles would stay the same, or get smaller if you discontinued HCG. I would assume they would stay the same. I'm pretty sure the reason HCG keeps testicles plump is from the LH signal stimulating the leydig cells. I could be wrong on that though. But there is a possibility of the LH signal stimulating your testicles a tiny bit, just nowhere near someone that is secondary. So maybe the HCG is keeping them slightly bigger than on no HCG.

Only one of my testicles work, it served me well for 60 years. I was able to make seven baby and letter in three sports in high school. No complaints.

Good for you Vince. Doing more with one than most of us are doing with a full set! How did you even find out that only one was working?
