64, 6'3" last two years my t was at 360, but I still had good libido and fair performance in bed. sometime good. sometimes a dud. struggled to lose weight. got viagra from doc and up until recently it helped most of the time. i take vitamins and have been adding every libido increasing supplement over time and now im like taking them all. tribulus l argnine l citrulline horny goat weed. you name it. inconsistent results in bed. started on monjourno last week of December and lost the 25 lbs I've been trying to lose for the last 10 years. went from 226 to 198 and I'm happy. but in the last month my libido is zero. no morning wood (but it was very seldom over the last couple years) I can't get hard even with the viagra I've noticed my legs look like they've been shaved. I'd swear my beard is growing less. and I'd swear my nuts have gotten smaller. I feel like crap, I don't feel like a man and I hate it. got blood work last week and I'm going to mens clinic on Tuesday. I'll see what they say. has anyone else been like borderline then just had the way you feel fall off the table? gp always said I was fine, but I'm not so sure. after reading here I'm thinking about switching to cialis and if trt is recommended asking for hcg and trt right off the bat. my rbc has been right on the last click before low too on my last few years blood work. any feedback from OLDER MEN over 60 that have similar experience please let me know what / how you did. and if you used trt what helped keep your load size up. in the last couple months I've went from hitting the headboard to almost nothing. this seems like a really fast progression is this common? thanks in advance

Going to a GP for TRT may not be the best move. Most doctors think in range is normal, that’s what they’re taught in medical school but for hormones that’s not true. Men have different type of receptors, sensitivity at the androgen receptors, as well as abilities for tissues to respond because we’re all genetically different.

Therefore you can’t have one number for everyone, but that’s exactly what doctors do, treat everyone the same. Some men only need a midrange level to feel normal, some need levels at the top end of the ranges for feel normal.

When it comes to hormone levels. diagnosis and treatment, this area of medicine needs to be individualized and this requires a little bit of critical thought process and good clinical judgment of the doctor to properly assess each patient.

Sadly, many doctors want nothing to do with TRT and will tell men their fine out of complete ignorance.

The private sector is a booming business as a result!

no. i just take every libido enhancing supplement that there is. im pretty sure something crashed my "t". I've been complaining to my pcp for two years about spotty libido and performance, but something happened. I lost all the hair on my legs, It feels like I just shaved at 9pm. Zero morning wood, and I'd swear my nuts shrunk.

are you in the UK? not familiar with the system there, but I am hearing 2 things a) HRT is impossible with typical docs b) Testosterone can be purchased online and is 'legal' (not a scheduled drug).
T will definitely ramp you on all levels, 0 doubt. just make sure your protocol isn't shit. most general docs in the usa either have no clue, or will put you on a hellish protocol. my first doc wanted me on 100mg/every 2 weeks. such a protocol will leave you in a WORSE state. as a general starting rule, you need to be injecting 120-180mg/weekly, in 2-3 injections. and if you like testicles, HCG is a MUST
