What are the dangers and causes of high free testoserone my total is 942 in an 1100 scale. My free test is 250.2 on a 159 high scale

I would not say that your free T is too high. It would be nice if you had a complete testosterone panel.

Free testosterone (testosterone fraction not bound to any proteins. This is the active fraction)

As long as your Hematocrit and cholesterol HDL/LDL are fine, then high free T is not really dangerous by itself. You likely have low SHBG which means you will have relatively high free T on any protocol.

Your Free Test is sitting right at 2.65%. IMO, ideal levels are in the 2% to 3% range, which you will see in a lot of men. If you want to lower this, it's simple, lower your Total Serum by reducing your protocol dosage. 600ng/dl of total serum would put you around 159 on Free Test. Make sense?

Do you have any symptoms? The free is high per the range. However, we don't really know what range is appropriate. The biggest concern with elevated testosterone from TRT is polycythemia. That is a fancy way of saying too much red blood cells. This can thicken the blood. What is your H & H. Ie, hemoglobin and hemocrit

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
