Hello,
I am 56 and after three years from my last TRT ( androgel ) I decided to redo HCG to increase my testosterone. I knew it would increase my estradiol but did not expect so much my level is 148 g/Ml. I finished the second cycle of two months ( 500 ui every other day) three weeks ago and estradiol is still pretty high. I do have arimidex 1 mg pills but before taking it I would like to refresh my memory on the situation.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thank you

carlo

Much of the E2 conversion with HCG occurs in the testicles, which arimidex doesn't affect much. I would suggest getting with a good Doctor to help you sort this out.

If you are doing this on your own, I would suggest keeping HCG below 1,000 IU a WK, which should prevent your HPTA from shutting down. You could also try 1/8 arimidex 2-3 week, but it may not help.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
