Have been on TRT for a year and have recently developed a bothersome symptom (may not be related to testosterone of course), wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it. When I am standing or lying down I feel normal, but if my feet are elevated while I'm in my recliner, my face and head feel general pressure all over, exactly like what you feel when you stand on your head. Well not as bad as when you stand on your head, but you get what I mean. I brought it up on my Defy consult last week and was told to try to hydrate more and to donate blood since my hematocrit was 51.9, just above the range of 37.5-51. So 5 days ago I donated blood and have been hydrating a lot, however this feeling is not going away, at least so far. Total T is 940, free T is 26.4, sensitive estradiol is 36.5. We also reduced my Test Cyp shots from EOD of 40mg to every day at 18mg, hoping to bring down the estradiol a little since I felt some bloating. I do not take HCG. Other than the head pressure I feel fine. Btw I do not take niacin. Also wondered if I had a fever but temp is 97.5. BP is 110/60. Thanks for any input!

Boy I'm stumped. I wonder what your blood pressure is, with you sitting in the recliner and your feet are up.

108/67

I suppose the symptoms are slightly present even when not in the recliner. Its mostly noticeable first thing in the morning the first hour I'm in the recliner (my workstation is the recliner with two elevated monitors). I'm not fully reclined btw, my head is above my feet and torso.

One other point - I have always had a red flush around my neck and in the chest area. If you press it, it turns white for a second then goes back to red. That's not new though.

I've recently been in the ER for the last 3 days due to adema that would swell up in certain parts of my body and whenever the nurses or doctors tried to lie my down or took my blood pressure, I felt pressure in my head and got lightheaded.

Do you have any muscle spasms, tinnitus or red itchy rashes on your skin?

These are the first signs of adema which occur with more intensity the more frequent the injections for myself.

Not all all, thankfully. Except for the tinnitus, which I have had forever. Its only in my head and is only a feeling, and it is not visible.

Hm-m-m. You mean same testosterone per week, just more frequent, does this for you?

Can you elaborate...? The more frequent your T injections, the more this was an issue?

The more frequent the injection, the faster edema occurs, I attribute tinnitus to edema. Estrogen can cause tinnitus as well.

Went to pharmacy and asked the guy what he thought. He said "sounds like allergies". Took some non-drowsy sudafed this morning, symptoms are 80% better. (I just moved to Florida - never had allergies before so it was not on my radar)
