Estrogen blocker

Through much research, and speaking to several Docs (they have seen my bloodwork), I have concluded that I need 300-350 mg of injectible test per week for a 6 month cycle. However, I am not clear how much (and what specific product) estrogen blocker would be needed with that. Anyone available to guide me through that process? I have a Doc that will prescribe...
Thanks!

Do you mean increasing your TRT protocol for 6 months, or just a 6 month run with Testosterone? Interesting that a doctor would actually help you with this. But Antiestrogens are dosed based on blood work. It's individualistic and cannot be generalized.

The dosage you are considering taking and for a 6 month cycle really amounts to a long run aas cycle and not hormone replacement for the rest of your life.

Agree with Austine, it is interesting a Doc would actually do this as it could put his license in jeopardy.

As for the need for an aromatase inhibitor (technically, it's not an estrogen blocker) Austine is correct, only base line blood work and early testing will determine if and how much of an AI you will need.

I will tell you this, you will need HCG to keep your testicles alive at those dosages.

Keep us posted in this thread on how things go as I am interested as well.

Many people feel like garbage at supra-physiological levels. This will more than likely not relieve the symptoms that you reported in a previous post w/ the exception of gains in the gym. If you opt for this route I would contact someone like Michael Scally for proper PCT.

Gene: Of course, you are correct. The initial test cycle would be for 6 months. Then after a 2 month break, I would do it again for 6 months. Presumambly for the rest of my life.

What from my bloodwork would determine how much antiestrogen I would need? Would that be tested AFTER I start the test? Or, is that answer already in my bloodwork results? Oh... What is PCT?
Thanks!

Ty - There is no "stopping and starting" on TRT. Once you start you will become HPTA suppressed and a few weeks after you stop your protocol you will crash and without a PCT it will put you back in the same low testosterone level that you started at. The body thrives on regularity.

You need to monitor Estrogen to determine if you need an AI or not. Typically, the weekly doses men start out on of Testosterone range from 60 mg to 200 mg a week with 200 mg being rare. Usually, after about 6 weeks on the protocol, and once serum levels stabilize, blood work will be done to make any adjustments in doses to keep a man in optimal levels.

With the doses you are taking, however, in my opinion, I think you will need an AI as the dosage amounts are very high for TRT.

How long after a cycle does it take to return to our "normal" levels? It is my understanding that occasionally AAS can cause permanent HPTA suppression. Is this correct?

HPTA rarely restarts on its own after an aas cycle or even TRT for that matter.

HPTA suppression can be permanent or may never fully recover.

That's why it is recommended that no one under 30 really should ever consider an aas cycle as it can/will cause permanent damage to HPTA even after PCT attempts.
