Does anyone use DIM for estrogen management?

I tried the search function but "DIM" doesn't contain enough characters to preform a search.... Thanks!
It doesn’t really work if you are trying to substantially reduce your estradiol. For small reductions it might work. In theory DIM improves estrogen metabolism favoring “good” estrogen metabolites. So basically if your estradiol is just slightly elevated and you are having symptoms DIM might help.

Agree with HealthMan. Some combine Calcium D-Glucarate with DIM for a little added punch.

I have been supplementing DIM for some time. It works well for me. I had averaged in the 50's for estrogen without an inhibitor. I was not too fond of taking Anastrozole. Dr Chrisler recommended DIM a few years back when he was with defy. I have taken it for a few years. I average high 30's/low 40's presently. It does help with some of my E symptoms ie emotional,

I have been taking DIM 200 mg since January. In my opinion it does not do what an AI would do. If you need a little bump to get your slightly elevated estradiol down a few points then DIM is the supplement for you, but it won't bring it down 10 or more points. What it has done for me is the following:

1. At 400 mg it has taken away the cystic acne I was getting due to TRT
2. Typically when my estradiol is too high I get hot flashes, this keeps them in check
3. It's dropped my estradiol about 5 points, but never more than that.

Ken, your getting pretty good results, seems like it is well worth it for you.

Well I just started doing the 400 mg up from 200 mg because I wanted to see if it would help bring down my estradiol level, it was at a 39 at trough. I don't feel bloated, no nipple sensitivity, but my libido is non existent and my erections are not sustainable. It's either my thyroid or my estradiol level messing me up. I was trying to see if this would help any. I have a high BF so I really can't tell if I'm bloated, but you would think that yes I would be able to tell. Our human bodies are so complicated. Hopefully I'll get my answers tomorrow when I speak to a doc.
