do I need to lower my dose - again

I recently lowered my testosterone dose from 100 mgs to 80mgs, 40 twice a week, because I felt my levels were too high at around 1100 and I was starting to have elevated blood pressure. I got the BP under control by basically taking every thing I could find on how to naturally lower blood pressure - magnesium, apple cider vinegar, co q 10, pomegranate etc.

I just got a new blood test to see what my levels are after a few months at 80 mgs because I'm not getting morning wood and strong erections anymore - a problem I have never had - trt or before trt. I was expecting that the problem was high estrogen. I was shocked to see my total t was 1300 free was high at 35 with 18 being the upper end and e was only 31 with 35 being the upper end.

Another issue is my gfr or kidney level is 56 when it's supposed to be above 60. Last year it came in low so my doctor ordered another test and then it came in over 60 so I thought it was a one off fluke kind of thing , then it came back low again this last test. Creatinine is also high, that has come in high for years which I attribute to working out and high protien

I don't understand why I'm getting such a high level on such a low dose, any thoughts are appreciated

When relative to injecting your T did you have your blood draw? Should do it at the lowest trough just before next scheduled injection.

How long after reducing your dose did you have your blood draw? Due to half life of T cyp, it takes 40 days to reach the new steady state. So at least 6 weeks before retesting.

Kidney results can be skewed by taking creatine. Some people especially in the body building community discount this as false positive if taking creatine. Some doctors however see this as stress on the kidneys regardless. My previous doctor wanted me off of creatine due to this problem. Vince Carter will offer you counterpoint to that view.

What is your SHBG at? If it is on the high side, your E2 could be a little low for you. But even so, that E2 looks about perfect, so I would think you would be feeling great with those numbers and have great libido. Very surprised your erections are suffering a little with where your numbers are at.

Are you on HCG or an AI? Or just the T cyp 80mg/ week?

ED can be caused by things other than problems in sex hormone levels. Worth also considering changes in your relationships, mental health, stress levels and circulatory health.

I'm off and on creatine, tbh I don't remember if I was on at the time I take so many supplements

I don't know my SHBG, I don't use hcg and was waiting to see the numbers before taking any armidex. yes with those numbers I am surprised. I had been walking around with a hard on half the day until recently, I'm stumped

I find it really hard to believe that you're only injecting 40 mg twice a week. I would say it's impossible to have that high of level on that low amount. But I know it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong.

It's possible you might believe you're injecting .40mL and you would be if from a 10mL 100mg vial, but if a 10mL 200mg vial you would be injecting 80mg twice weekly. That would more than explain your high levels.

my son loads them for me, he's been using steroids for more than 10 years. I just called him and questioned him again. He insists he's only giving me 40 mgs a shot. He got a little agitated when I questioned him talking about how long a vial is lasting. I trust him.

I have reduced my Test from 100mg per week to first 80 and now 70. My total T 4 days after my last injection was 770. Im doing great on reduced test amounts also.

I hope son isn't rooting a little too hard for Dad to get healthy. I think it's best to shoot your own test. The thigh is easy and relatively painless. Shoot your own dogs, shoot your own testosterone.
